Laser animation & sound design

Another laser animation with our KVANT laser projectors. To create the mouse cursor animation, I used two built in-tools from the Beyond laser design software. To convert a PNG of the cursor icon to a laser image, I used the Quick Trace tool. To make the cursor image follow the desired path, I used the writeOut / Path Following tools and set Continuous Path to Write out (with fading trace) for the trailing effect. The rest of the graphics were hand drawn in Beyond. The sound design was created in FL Studio and mostly used Native Instruments Massive synthesizer.

Our next plan is to setup an interactive, generative system using Touch Designer combined with an OpenCV implementation for motion tracking.
