Doritos Behind the Scenes

Over the past six months, we have been moving fast into producing more lighting-based projects. The last Doritos and Tiffany projects were a couple of the larger projects. We all love to document the behind-the-scenes work during installations and thought it would be fun to post some of the videos and photos from our last Doritos lighting installation.

Our job was to coordinate the lighting of three different buildings in three cities simultaneously, activating the Doritos branding with lighting, turning the buildings into giant Doritos. This involved working with the various cities government agencies for permitting, determining building power sources and booking generators, negotiating with building ownership for access for our crews for lighting locations and general shipping logistics along with crew booking/management.

Coordinating three simultaneous events in three different cities is no simple task. The amount of challenges we encountered on this was extreme, but we are always ready to roll with it and quickly problem solve and find solutions. Our crack team of highly technical producers and techs spent the time and effort so each installation got the attention it deserved and more.
