Transforming the gateway to the fulton Market District

In 2014, M1 was invited to be on the Fulton Market Planning Committee. The design team at M1, led by Brian Dressel, worked closely with the City of Chicago Department of Transportation (CDOT), Jacobs Engineering & Altamanu to envision the future of Fulton Market integrated technologies and Gateway Signage. We worked through many conceptual designs over several months with a limited budget, to blend the historical meat packing district of the past to the future of Fulton Market. Fulton Market is now a surreal blend of hip restaurants, hotels and hangouts.
